Yoga is for everyone, whether your body is bendy or hampered by ailments, whether your mind is a millpond or a turbulent storm, you are welcome here.

Claire Hilton teaches yoga in Devon & online. She also runs retreats and actively engages in training to support her practice.

 YOGA CLASSES

Hatha Vinyasa: Claire’s classes are holistic and  focus on restorative benefits of a physical practise with breathwork. Her dynamic stretches focus on linking the mind & body in a flowing practice. Suitable for both beginners and more experienced yogis.

Restorative Yoga: These sessions are slow with long holds in restful poses to reduce stress and anxiety & to encourage healing.  They are suitable for those with injuries, ailments or medical conditions that might otherwise prevent them from attending a regular yoga class. Do email Claire before attending.

One-to-ones: Bespoke private sessions can be arranged in person or online as individual or regular sessions. These will be tailored to suit your individual needs to alleviate any symptoms of dis-ease in the body through a physical asana stretches, meditiation and restorative practices and/or pranayama (breath work).

NURTURE SESSIONS & RETREATS

Nurture sessions – an evening of restorative and yin yoga, guided relaxation and pampering luxuries at Kiva and Zen Studios on the first Wednesday Evening of the month.  Find peace during a mindful practice and treat the body with a range of vegan and natural products from Tropic.  For Tropic info, see the Tropic Shop button at the bottom of the page.

Retreats

Following the success of our Autumn retreat at Monkton Wyld Court, we’ll be organising a similar event in 2022 – watch this space.

YOGA IN SCHOOLS

Children and adolescents benefit from the mindful qualities of yoga as an antidote to the busy, real and online worlds they inhabit.  Working in local schools, offers students mindful techniques through a physical practice in PE lessons, extra-curricular clubs and as part of a SEND or pupil premium provision.

NAVIGATING ANXIETY PACKAGE:  For one-to-one or very small group sessions in schools, this 6 week programme of one hour sessions teaches students the skills to naviage anxiety through yoga stretches, breathwork, meditation tools and positive affirmations.

STORY YOGA:  Through words and actions to promote kindess and purity of heart, we’ll move through a story. Flowing movement, still poses and little life lessons will lead to a quiet finish with full breaths and big smiles.  Suitable for years1-4 Lympstone Primary School

  • Nurture Session Yin and Nidra

    A much needed rest for your mind and body through held poses for deep release and guided relaxation in the beautiful form of yoga nidra.   This class will be held at Kiva and Zen Studios in Topsham. Book here
